Leadership Team

The leadership team of the church is made up of a group of men and women who passionately love and serve God, and actively express this love to other people.

  • Pastor Demola Obembe
    Demola Obembe is the pastor in charge at Amazing Grace Leicester. He also coordinates the Education department of the church. An academic lecturer by profession, He has a passion for teaching the word of God with a view to enabling people develop the knowledge and insight that will allow them maximise their God-given potentials and be who God wants them to be. He is married to Funmi Obembe and they are blessed with two wonderful boys – Oluwatoni and Inioluwa. He can be contacted via pastor@amazinggraceleicester.org.uk
  • Funmi Obembe
    Funmi Obembe is passionate about encouraging and helping people be everything God has called them to be. She enjoys teaching, coordinates the church outreach team (Impact Group) and is a Software Engineer by profession.
  • David Adebayo
    David Adebayo is minister in charge of the prayer group and follow-up unit.
  • Rachel Adebayo
    Rachel Adebayo is minster in charge of counselling at Amazing Grace Leicester.
  • Kehinde Odude
    Kehinde Odude coordinates the workforce and he is the minister in charge of the youths. He is an Accounts Technician by profession. He is married to Precious Odude and they have two beautiful daughters. He has a passion for all workers and volunteers to live a Christ centered life by providing an avenue for workers and volunteers to learn practical Christian living.
  • R.T. Odusanya
    R.T. Odusanya is minister in charge of the Welfare department.
  • Tola Subair
    Tola Subair is an ordained deaconess and minister in charge of the women’s fellowship.

Community Outreaches

  • Carol Service Carol Service The annual carol service for the community, fliers are passed around the neigbhourhood and many invited via the Clarendon Park street fair.

The street fair always provides an opportunity to connect with members of the community and give out lots of free food, reading materials, bags of hope, balloons, stationary, wrist bands and so on, all with inspirational christian messages.

  • Open Air Outdoor Service Open Air Outdoor Service Taking church out of the building. Coming up summer 2017 is 'Church in the Park'!
  • Christmas Outreach to Local Care Home Christmas Outreach to Local Care Home We had a lovely time doing sing along Christmas carols with the residents and staff sharing the love of God and the Christmas message that Jesus is the reason for the season. We also took along Christmas gifts. Everyone had a great time!

  • Pillarz at University's Freshers Fair Pillarz at University's Freshers Fair New students to Leicester are given a very warm welcome by Pillarz (youth fellowship)
  • Gifts for Centre Project Gifts for Centre Project Amazing Grace from time to time supports other charities such as Centre Project, Open Doors, collection of food for the homeless and so on.
